Praba’s mom hospitalized

The ailing mother of slain LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabakaran, who was taken to Jaffna from Colombo yesterday, was hospitalized last evening, Tamil media reports in Jaffna said this morning.

Parvathi Pillai, who was earlier offered a temporary visa to India for medical treatment, was admitted to the Vellvetithurai hospital last evening.

Prabakaran’s mother was earlier in Malaysia but was brought down to Sri Lanka earlier this week and stayed at a lodge in Colombo. When Daily Mirror online visited the lodge this week she was bed ridden.
